Green Pack Brands, a health and nutrition food company has launched a new brand of Chickpea Puffs known as Hippeas. The new brand was developed by one of the company’s executives Livio Bisterzo. Bisterzo graduated from the University of the Arts London. He has worked in other businesses like Alvaro Group and Little Miracle Drinks.
Hippeas is a healthy and tasty snack that was launched in June 2016 by Green Pack Brands. The new snack comes in six different flavors. It is low in fat and calories, high in fiber and proteins, and is gluten-free. The Hippeas snack is packed into 22 grams and 110 grams bags.
The available Hippeas flavors are:
- Far Out Fajita
- Pepper power
- Happenin’ Hickory
- Maple Haze
- Vegan White Cheddar
- Sriracha Sunshine
Livio Bisterzo, a successful branding manager, said that he was confident that their brand would be loved by their customers worldwide. Their company, Green Park Brands, was also looking forward to making Hippeas snack affordable to all its customers.
Hippeas has already been released to more than 7500 Starbucks fast food stores in United States. From the stores, customers can choose from Vegan White Cheddar flavored Hippeas and Far Out Fajita flavored Hippeas.
Livio Bisterzo has a wealth of experience in the natural food industry acquired by being active in the industry for more than seven years. He has been working to develop the new brand since May 2015, when Green Park Brands appointed him.
While developing the new brand, Bisterzo ensured that they developed a snack with an appealing shape, great taste, bite, and texture. Bisterzo confirmed that thousands of customers had called to express their contentment with the new snack, Hippeas.
Carolyn Chinn, a sales manager at Starbucks, said that their company, Starbucks sold brands that were manufactured to meet customers’ dietary preferences and other healthy needs. Chinn said that Hippeas was one such product that was positively received by their clients.

Besides providing a brand that is highly recognized among consumers, Bisterzo confirmed that their company was also dedicated to giving back to different world societies. For instance, Hippeas and Bisterzo have partnered with Farm Africa to support farmers in Eastern Africa. The farmers are encouraged to grow chickpea plants that fix nitrogen into the soil.
In every pack of Hippeas sold, the firm will donate a portion of its revenue to support farmers in the Sub-Saharan Africa to get out of poverty by supporting productive farming projects.
